Bethel Christian lost against the Rock Church Lions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bethel Christian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Rock Church. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bethel Christian in their matchups with Rock Church: they've now lost four in a row.
Miles Dawkins was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven assists and six steals for Rock Church. Dawkins is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Benny Dillon, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Bethel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Rock Church, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
