Sickles has gone 4-0 against King recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sickles Gryphons will venture away from home to take on the King Lions at 6:00 p.m. Sickles' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so King's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Sickles' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Leto 8-0. Considering the Gryphons have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sickles used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Leto. Kaliana Cordero played for 30 minutes having averaged 13.8 this season and Eva Tzelepis got 40 vs. an average of 20. Cordero made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to Tampa Bay Tech. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Sickles and bumps their season record up to 6-1-4. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.

Sickles took their win against King in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 by a conclusive 8-0. Does Sickles have another victory up their sleeve, or will King turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
