Costa Mesa lost to Calvary Chapel back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Costa Mesa Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Calvary Chapel Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Loss or not, Calvary Chapel got some senior leadership from Ben DeVries and Jorden Embry. DeVries posted 17 points, while Embry had 16 points. The game was Embry's third in a row with at least ten points.

Costa Mesa is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Calvary Chapel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.
