Even though the Munroe Bobcats have not done well against the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. Munroe strolled past FAMU DRS with  points to spare, taking the game  45-28. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Munroe.
 Munroe got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Aj Johnson out in front who  scored 20 points. The  match was  Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points.  Mya Mccullar was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 11  rebounds and 3  blocks.
 Despite the loss, FAMU DRS still got an impressive performance from   Hailyn Forbes, who  scored 10 points. Forbes continues to roll, besting  her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.
 FAMU DRS  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only two  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Munroe  posted 15.
 The  win  got Munroe back to even at 2-2. As for FAMU DRS, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Munroe will  take on North Florida Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. North Florida Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for FAMU DRS, they will head out on the road to face off against Raines at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Raines will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
