  Jaden Brown was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gracie Varney, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Even though they lost, Trinity was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with three  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 On Arcata's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Lexi Alto, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Josie Cunningham, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Arcata, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will  face off against Redding Christian at 1:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Arcata, they will be staying on the road  on Wednesday to face off against Eureka at 4:00  p.m.
