The Seaside Spartans will head out on the road to take on the North Monterey County Condors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seaside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully North Monterey County likes a good challenge.
Even though Seaside has not done well against Alisal recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Seaside enjoyed a cozy 65-51 victory over Alisal.
Meanwhile, North Monterey County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 60-53 victory over St. Francis on Wednesday.
Seaside's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for North Monterey County, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.
Seaside suffered a grim 69-47 defeat to North Monterey County when the teams last played back in January. Can Seaside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
