The Lebanon Pioneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-11 loss at the hands of Honaker. Lebanon has struggled against Honaker recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Alayna McNulty was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds for Honaker. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Tailor Nolley, who scored 14 points along with six steals.
Lebanon's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.3 points per game. As for Honaker, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will challenge Tazewell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Tazewell is ranked 338th, while Lebanon is ranked 316th). Honaker will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Carroll County at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. Carroll County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 240 points over their last four contests.
