The Apache Junction Prospectors had to suffer through  a    53-14 loss at the hands of the Gilbert Christian Knights. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Gilbert Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kamari Stanbury led the charge by picking up 45 receiving yards and one  score, while also punching in one rushing score.
Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Gilbert Christian,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-3.
 Apache Junction does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilbert Christian, they will challenge Payson at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Longhorns' defense has only allowed 15  points per game  this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
