Sagemont extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Donna Klein Jewish Academy Eagles. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 75-41 victory over the Eagles. Sagemont has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
Kevin Thomas was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Patrick Liburd, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The victory (which was Sagemont's sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Sagemont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-31 victory vs. Dade Christian on the 10th. Donna Klein Jewish Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
