The Godley Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Stephenville was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 473 total yards. That's the most total yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Stephenville wouldn't let Everman keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. CJ Spellmeier led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself.
The victory got Godley back to even at 1-1. As for Stephenville, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
