Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Falcon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .774. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View only posted an OBP of .400.
Meanwhile, Pueblo East unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Pueblo South by a score of 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Colts: they've now lost five in a row.
Falcon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pueblo East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
