On Saturday, Norfolk Christian didn't have too much trouble with Salem on the road as they won 43-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Norfolk Christian.
Norfolk Christian found their leader in underclassman Abuna Ruop, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ellery Giddens, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Norfolk Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will take on Nandua at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salem, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tallwood at 5:30 p.m.
