Even though the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Killingly Redmen still came out on top. Killingly secured a  64-60 W over Lyman Memorial. That's another feather in the cap for Killingly, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Lyman Memorial lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Kevin Botticello, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 14  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Jared Russo, who  scored 16 points.
 Killingly's win  ended a five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-9. As for Lyman Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Killingly will  take on Griswold at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Griswold has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three contests. As for Lyman Memorial, they won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Westbrook at 7:00  p.m.  on February 7th. Westbrook is coming into the  contest with five straight  defeats at home,  meaning Lyman Memorial will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
