The Clinton Prairie Gophers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Frontier by a score of 73-61. The win was familiar territory for Clinton Prairie who now have four in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Abbey Swan, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Emma Nash was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Clinton Prairie has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-16 record this season. As for Frontier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.
Clinton Prairie will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Covington at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Covington is ranked 320th, while Clinton Prairie is ranked 314th). As for Frontier, they will head out on the road to square off against North White at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully North White focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 two weeks ago.
