The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mason Gregg, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Copeland, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Statesville Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 80-58 walloping at the hands of North Hills Christian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Statesville Christian in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Salem Baptist Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 68-65. Will Salem Baptist Christian repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
