Salmon River put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 47-35 victory over the Highland Huskies. Given the Savages' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Huskies are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Highland lost, don't look at Hailey Click. Despite the final result, she went 8 for 20 on her way to 20 points and seven steals. Click is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. Alli Mae Moddrell was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Salmon River pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Highland, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Salmon River will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m. As for Highland, they will head out to take on St. John Bosco Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
