Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Charlestown walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  51-26 margin over the Silver Creek Dragons on Friday. The Pirates' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Jovon Morris had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 152 yards and four  TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Charlestown also got help from  Noah Phillips, who showed off his sure hands for 90  receiving yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Charlestown was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 251  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in August.
 When it comes to explaining why Silver Creek lost, don't look at  Kameron Black. Despite the final result, he threw for 259 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards and one  score on only five carries. The Dragons' leading receiver  Drake Oltman was  Black's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.
The  win made it two in a row for Charlestown and  bumps their season record up to 8-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Silver Creek,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
 Coming up, Charlestown will head out on the road to  face off against  Martinsville  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Morris and  Lucas Dewey. Silver Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
