It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glenn had no problem doing just that  on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies, sneaking past  4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 McKenzie Timm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Payton Thomas, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Sophia Lizzi was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs.
Glenn now  has a winning record of 13-12. As for Plymouth, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
 Coming up, Glenn will challenge South Bend Saint Joseph at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
