Bourgade Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juliet Botiller, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Botiller has scored at least a third of Bourgade Catholic's points. Kyra Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Chino Valley's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Bourgade Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.
