On Thursday, Sugar Creek was fully in charge, breezing past Garinger 69-41 on the road.
Sugar Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ajaylon Ingram- Moore out in front who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Terry Watson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Sugar Creek is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Garinger, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Sugar Creek won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Palisades at 2:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Palisades presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sugar Creek in North Carolina (Palisades is ranked 159th, while Sugar Creek is ranked 378th). Garinger will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Statesville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
