The Ingomar Falcons entered their tilt with the New Albany Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Ingomar narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 57-54. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 18 to 5 on the offensive boards, as Ingomar did.
Ingomar's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Denton, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cody Bost, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, New Albany still got an impressive performance from Kylan Lindsey, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Braden Shettles was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Ingomar's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for New Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
