They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat ITW David Speer Academy 57-29 at home. That's another feather in the cap for UIC College Prep, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
UIC College Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adam Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Andre Boone, who scored ten points along with nine steals.
UIC College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for ITW David Speer Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
UIC College Prep and Woodlawn will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Woodlawn is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. ITW David Speer Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Intrinsic at 6:30 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
