The Washington Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 63-56 to Therrell. Washington was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Therrell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Therrell found their leader in underclassman Andrew Taylor, who scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. Taylor hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Tyler Superville, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Washington has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Therrell, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-19.
Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Therrell also has no future games currently scheduled.
