The Chaparral Bobcats suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 73-47 loss at the hands of Belton. Chaparral was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-17.
Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from CJ Norwood, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Brad Miles, who scored eight points.
Chaparral has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season. As for Belton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
