Lander Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Powell Panthers a 6-0 shutout. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Lander Valley this season.

They hit Powell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Craig Hansen (2), Finn Richards (2), Wylie Nachazel, and Garett Romer.

Lander Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Powell, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Lander Valley and Powell will both be playing Cody the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will host the Broncs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
