The Stringer Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Leake County Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Stringer suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Taylorsville, falling 65-26. Stringer has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Leake County waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mississippi School for the Deaf 63-15 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Leake County has managed all season.
Stringer has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Leake County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12.
Stringer ended up a good deal behind Leake County in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, losing 64-49. Can Stringer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
