Durham Academy is 8-2 against the Knights since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Durham Academy Cavaliers will head out on the road to take on the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights at 7:45 p.m. Hopefully Durham Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, Durham Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 44-40 to the Wildcats.
PJ Jeffries put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Wilcox, who scored ten points.
Durham Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, North Raleigh Christian Academy was beaten by the Ravens 76-48 on Friday. While losing is never fun, North Raleigh Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Ravens are ranked 92nd).

Durham Academy strolled past the Knights in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Durham Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
