Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jameson Looper stepped things up a notch to give Marion the 'W'. Looper tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (four) he has had since back in March.

Looper and Marion will square off against Bennington at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bulldogs thanks in part to Looper: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
