Aletheia Christian Academy's tough 58-35 defeat to Jones Christian Academy on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Aletheia Christian Academy in their matchups with Jones Christian Academy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Aletheia Christian Academy had strong showings from Braden Roberts, who scored eight points along with five rebounds, and Carsen Simmons, who scored seven points.
Aletheia Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Jones Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aletheia Christian Academy will take on Central Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jones Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on West Florida Baptist Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully West Florida Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday.
