Volleyball Recap: Emma Lane and Summer Palmer Secure Win for Chamblee

Chamblee won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chamblee was: they took both sets by at least 22 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-1.

Chamblee was led to victory by Summer Palmer and Emma Lane. Palmer had 11 aces and five digs, while Lane had 11 aces and nine assists. That's the most aces Palmer has posted since back in August of 2024.

Chamblee's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Columbia, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Chamblee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Stone Mountain on the 12th. After both having extra time off, Columbia and Mundy's Mill will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
