The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mission Veterans Memorial in their matchups with Palmview: they've now lost six in a row.
It was another big night for Mia Rojas, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and six steals for Palmview. Jocelyn Rojas was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Mission Veterans Memorial has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Palmview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.
