The Mexico Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 88-66 walloping at the hands of Chittenango. Mexico has struggled against Chittenango recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Ryan Moesch was his usual excellent self, scoring 40 points along with seven steals and six assists for Chittenango. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Moesch has scored at least a third of Chittenango's points. Another player making a difference was Brendon Barnard, who scored 16 points.
Mexico has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Chittenango, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Mexico will head out on the road to challenge Institute of Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chittenango, they will be playing at home against Cortland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cortland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
