Adding to the longest winning streak in 7A District 7 this week, Sickles beat Plant City 17-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Gaither lost to East Bay 34-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Malkom Johns was a bright spot for the Cowboys, as he in the defeat.
6-foot-3 quarterback Deon Cain of Tampa Bay Tech is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,945. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jaaron Barrett. The Sickles star has 36 catches for 642 yards.
Freedom made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,994 from 6,049.
