Silsbee was the 18-3 winner over Jasper when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Silsbee's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Jasper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Silsbee Tigers challenge Bridge City Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jasper, they will take on Groveton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches.
