Each week during the season (regular and post), there will be
a fan-generated contest to tab weekly
winners. Each winner receives a letter and award
patch for their varsity jacket.
How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
Last week, over 125,000 votes were cast. So far this
school year, 6.9-million votes have been cast.

40 in wins over Evansville Memorial (11-0), Eveansville Central (7-0)
and Sullivan (3-0). Also had five hits, four RBI and a home run in the
three games.
* Addison Zimpleman, Caston (Fulton)
SoftballSophomore went 3-for-3 with three home runs,
five RBI and four runs in a 16-0 win over North-Judson-San Pierre and
2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs in a 12-0 win over
Northfield. Batting .655 with eight home runs.

Sophomore threw a perfect game and struck out all 15 batters she faced in a 13-0 win over North Miami. Also K’d 12 of the 17 batters she faced in a 17-0 win over Fort Weayne Concordia Lutheran and seven in a 9-1 win over Norwell. Has 72 Ks in 37.2 innings.

Junior had two home runs, seven RBI and three runs in a 21-5 win over Irvington Preparatory Academy and two home runs, six RBI, a double and two runs in a 10-7 loss to Edinburgh. Had two doubles, three BI and a run scored in a 15-3 win over Traders Point Christian. Batting .489 with 38 RBI, nine home runs, six doubles and 24 runs.

Junior tossed a perfect game with eight strikeouts and also went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles and two runs in a 17-0 win over Muncie Central. Added three hits, four runs and an RBI in a 16-3 win over Randolph Southern and struck out 10 in a 15-8 win over Union City.
