If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Otis-Bison. They and Pretty Prairie go head to head on Thursday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff matchup of the year. Pretty Prairie will need to watch out since Otis-Bison have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
Otis-Bison put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Ingalls as the team secured a 56-6 victory. No one put up better numbers for Otis-Bison than senior Anton Foust, who brought his A game into the match. He threw 4 TDs and picked up 58 yards on the ground. Foust has been a consistent playmaker for Otis-Bison as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-58, which was the final score in Pretty Prairie's tilt against South Barber. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Otis-Bison's win lifted them to 6-1-1 while Pretty Prairie's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll find out if Otis-Bison can add another positive mark to their record or if Pretty Prairie can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Otis-Bison's step.
