Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask C. Milton Wright). They blew past the Elkton Golden Elks 21-5 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Madalyn Hoskins made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Hoskins was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, C. Milton Wright got a massive performance out of Kendra Miller, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Miller has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last four times she's played. Julianna McJilton was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

C. Milton Wright was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive games.
