Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Tomlinson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-5.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beulah). They never let Garrison get on the board and left with a 25-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the Miners brought their scoring average up to 8.2 runs per game.
Addie Dale-Geiger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Dale-Geiger was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4.
In other batting news, Cassie Christensen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with eight RBI, two runs, and one double. Emma Hager was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
Beulah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.
The victory got Beulah back to even at 3-3. As for Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky], their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .566. However, it's not like Beulah struggles in that department as they've averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
