Malakai Sumter was Mcdaniel's top target, picking up 117 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Orestimba came up short against Hilmar on Friday and fell 21-13.
Orestimba's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dylan McCauley, who picked up 149 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Valenzuela, who threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns. McCauley is becoming a predictor of Orestimba's success: when he posts at least 80 receiving yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Hughson pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Orestimba, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
