It was a good run, but the Kennedy Crusaders unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Dunbar at home and fell 73-31. Kennedy has not had much luck with Dunbar recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Gallas. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Vincent Carrero was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Kennedy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12. As for Dunbar, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will challenge Mather at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunbar, they will head out on the road to take on Hubbard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hubbard has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
