The Lake Norman Charter Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 59-47 to SouthLake Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lake Norman Charter has scored all season.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Collin Mcconneyhead, who scored 13 points along with four steals. The contest was Mcconneyhead's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jay Morgan was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Lake Norman Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Robinson the next time they take the court. SouthLake Christian Academy will head out to face Robinson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Lake Norman Charter will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
