On Friday, The Allatoona Buccaneers got themselves on the board against the Etowah Eagles, but the Etowah Eagles never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 34-0 win over the Eagles at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Allatoona.
Saadiq Teel went supernova for Allatoona, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 156 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Teel's longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards. Camden Phillips was another key contributor, picking up 74 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Allatoona's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Etowah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Allatoona will head out on the road to face off against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Etowah, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. River Ridge is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
