Eastwood lost to Ottawa Hills back in February of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 79-68 win over the Green Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Several Green Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avi Hanusz, who shot 59% from the field en route to 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Coy, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 16 points and seven boards.

Eastwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Ottawa Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Eastwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-42 loss against Genoa Area on the 10th. As for Ottawa Hills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 66-39 win against Monroe on the 9th.
