Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chaparral). They came out on top against the Dexter Demons by a score of 65-57 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lobos as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Dexter, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Lovington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dexter, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mescalero Apache at 7:00 p.m.
