The Tate Aggies and the Pace Patriots squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Tate Aggies had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 56-13 loss at the hands of the Patriots. Tate has struggled against the Patriots recently, as their match on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Tate lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tina Lett. Despite the final result, she scored nine points.
Tate has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Pace, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
Tate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pace is on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Dolphins on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Gulf Breeze is ranked 88th, while the Patriots are ranked 68th).
