There's no place like home for Wheeler, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 59-37 on Tuesday. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wheeler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nick Scott, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Blane, who posted ten points and five assists.

Wheeler was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Tri-Township had strong showings from Dillon Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Cody Vernich, who earned ten points. Stewart has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chayse Boomfield, who put up three points.

The victory got Wheeler back to even at 2-2. As for Tri-Township, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wheeler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-41 win against Oregon-Davis on the 11th. As for Tri-Township, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-30 loss against Hebron on the 13th.
