For the second straight game, Trinity Christian will face off against Southwest Christian School. Trinity Christian will head out on the road to  square off against  Southwest Christian School  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
Trinity Christian fell victim to Southwest Christian School and their airtight pitching crew  on Friday. They lost  7-0 to the Eagles. The  contest marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.
For Southwest Christian School's part,  Evan Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Smith has been consistent : she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Addison Davidson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.  Rachel Swenson was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Southwest Christian School  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trinity Christian only managed two  hits.
 Southwest Christian School has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.6 runs over those games. Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
