Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran North). They blew past the Greenhills Gryphons 67-31 on Friday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 62-54 win the Gryphons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Lutheran North's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Greenhills, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Lutheran North and Greenhills could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Lutheran North (ranked 490th) will meet Lumen Christi Catholic (ranked 11th) at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
