The Riverside Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Leflore County for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-15 win on the road. Riverside has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 25 points or more this season.
Leflore County's loss came despite strong showings from Makiyzah Sims and Antionette Holston. Sims scored eight points along with six rebounds, while Holston scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. That was a full 46.7% of Leflore County's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Leflore County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing North Side the next time they take the court. Leflore County will host North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Riverside will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
