Given Maumee Valley Country Day's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Cardinal Stritch is ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Christian Majors, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amani-Jordan Chandran-Dickerson, who scored 17 points.
Maumee Valley Country Day's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Cardinal Stritch, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-4 record last season and are now at 5-9.
Maumee Valley Country Day won't have much time to rest: their next game is against La Lumiere at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th.
